Riders 9 years and under. Lead rein to be attached to the noseband of a snaffle bridle, with the riens going directly to the riders hands. The only attachment to the saddle allowed are a crupper and handle. Reins must not be attached to the saddle. The reins must be of a suitable length, not tied or shortened in any way.

Off the Lead Rein, riders must have reached their third birthday by the day of their class and not to have reached their 12th birthday on 1st January of the year of the show. Ponies must be shown in a suitable snaffle bridle. Ponies must not be cantered except in their individual show.
