The Downs Shetland Pony Group SPS-BS Bronze Medal Summer Show

Riders 9 years and under. Lead rein to be attached to the noseband of a snaffle bridle, with the riens going directly to the riders hands. The only attachment to the saddle allowed are a crupper and handle. Reins must not be attached to the saddle. The reins must be of a suitable length, not tied or shortened in any way.
SPS-BS Rosette to the winner.

Off the Lead Rein, riders must have reached their third birthday by the day of their class and not to have reached their 12th birthday on 1st January of the year of the show. Ponies must be shown in a suitable snaffle bridle. Ponies must not be cantered except in their individual show.
SPS-BS Rosette to 1st placed.

Stallions, mares and geldings four years over. Any rider of suitable height and weight. Rider any age, except for stallions where the rider must have reached their 12th birthday by the day of their class. Any suitable bridle is allowed apart from bitless bridles & running gags.

Young Handler. 3 -14 years and under.
May not show colts or stallions.
SPSBS Rosette to 1st placed.
Special rosette for best young handler under 8 years.

Standard Ponies of any age or gender.
Not to have been placed 1st up to the date of entries closing.

Standard Gelding. Three year old and under.
Buxted Stud rosette to the winner.

Standard Gelding. Four years and over.
Buxted Stud rosette to the winner.

Standard yearling Colt or Filly.
Class may be divided if sufficent entries

Standard Two year old colt or filly.
Rosette to the best opposite sex to the 1st placed.

Standard Three year old colt or filly.
Rosette to the best opposite sex to the 1st paced.

Standard Pony four to six years old, and gender.
Ponies may compete in any other applicable class.

Standard Mare. Four years and over with or without foal.
Foals must be three weeks old and over.
12a - Complimentary (free) foal class: Foals must be shown with their dams in the above mare class.
1st & 2nd Foal will be eligible for the Foal Championship
Foals must be registered or eligible for registration with SPS-BS.

Standard Stallion. Four years and over. Lead rein attached to the bit.
Stallion exhibitors are advised to display a Stallion disk on the bridle

Solid Colour including Black Standard Ponies of any age or gender.

Miniature Novice Pony. Any age or gender.
Not to have been placed 1st up to date of close of entries.

Miniature gelding Three years old and under.
Snelsmore Stud Rosette to the winner.

Miniature gelding four years old and over.
Snelsmore Stud rosette to the winner.

Miniature Yearling, Colt or Filly.
Will be divided if sufficent entries.

Miniature Two year old Colt or Filly
Rosette to the best opposite sex to the winner.

Miniature three year old Colt or Filly.
Rosette to the best opposite sex to the winner.

Miniature Intermediate. 4 - 6 years of age, any gender.
Ponies may compete any other applicable classes

Miniature Mare. Four years and over with or without foal.
Foals must be three weeks old and over.
Class 22a Complimentary (free) foal class: Foals must be
shown with their dams in the above mare class.
1st and 2nd Foal will be eligible for the Foal Championship.
Foals must be registered or eligible for SPS-BS registration.

Miniature Stallion. Four years and over.

Stallion exhibitors are advised to display a Stallion disk on the bridle

Standard or Miniature Pony bred by the exhibitor.
Any age or gender.

Roan and Dilute colour. Standard or Miniature. Any age or gender.
Roan can be any solid colour with white mixed evenly within the coat.
Dilute can be of: Cream - Double Creams - Dun -Silver - Mushroom or Champagne Genes.

Miniature solid colour, including Black ponies of any age or gender.

Standard or Miniature ponies 15 year old and over or any gender.

Broken Coloured,
Standard - Miniature.
Any age or gender.
