Show Description

RULE for HATS
All riders of horses, donkeys or ponies on the showground or exercise areas are required to wear suitable head protection (hard hat) that conforms to the current standards for head protection for equestrian activities. Helmets must be worn with the chin straps correctly and securely fastened at all times whilst mounted. This applies to all ridden competitions, demonstrations and whilst exercising. We strongly recommend that helmets are worn at all times when handling horses, donkeys and ponies on the ground.

Equine Wristbands - Adult Wristbands are issued as per the ticket allocation in the schedule. Please request Child Wristabnds for Children when entering. Children under 16 yrs of age are FREE but require wristbands.

PLUS could you be our LOCAL Amateur Supreme Champion? - The highest placed Amateur within Herefordshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire from selected classes qualify for this prestigous Championship on Sunday!

The showground boasts six spacious, grass equine rings as well as a Main Arena which host over 290 equine classes, receiving over 2,750 entries from many of the country’s top competitors. The show also hosts over 50 prestigious Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) qualifiers each year. There are all manner of classes from in-hand showing through to working hunter and ridden maxi cobs to keep you entertained. The driving classes in the Cotswold Ring, working horses in the Hereford Ring, spectacular show jumping in the Worcester Ring, and heavy horse displays in the Main Arena are real highlights. You can also stock up on equine essentials from the quality, specialist trade stands within the new Royal Parade shopping area in the Equine Village, located between the stables and the Main Arena. Seating and refreshments will also be available here so you can watch the judging in style.

Over the course of the show, many of the best horses and ponies from across the UK, along with their junior and senior riders and handlers, will be competing to be crowned champion. With over 50 Horse of the Year Show qualifiers, the classes will be fiercely contested.
