The New Forest Show is one of the largest and most prestigious agricultural events in the UK and is held over three days at the end of July attracting around 85,000 visitors. Show jumping is a major feature with international classes as well as a full range of equestrian classes and livestock competitions including cattle and sheep, plus a poultry section, rabbits, caged birds and honey bees.
Assisted by 500 volunteers, the show is a must-visit for anyone looking to connect with nature, learn something new and enjoy a fun filled day out. Some of the attractions include local food and drink stalls, craft vendors, educational exhibits and entertaining performances and much more.
The Show is rated among the top ten agricultural shows in the country and was attended by Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh in 2012. It is organised by the New Forest Agricultural Show Society (charity number 1004255) to promote and encourage the development of agriculture, forestry, equestrianism and horticulture and encourage improvement in the breeding of stock. Funds are raised to support the New Forest Agricultural Show Society and other local and national charitable organisations.
