Replicate a SET PIECE made by the Judge: Mr Stephen Lunn, in a TIME ALLOWED of TWO HOURS.

Class: 6 LIVE FORGING COMPETITION, OPEN TO ALL

Description:

To be competed for during the Show.
Competitors may enter as many pieces as they make live forging at the show.
Each piece to be made within a maximum of 1 hour and of their own choice.
Competitors to supply their own materials, or use what is available at the forge on the day.
A winning piece will be selected daily by a member of the public.
The winning piece will be retained for a presentation.
The maker of the piece will receive a cash prize of £50.00 (fifty pounds).

Class: 7 LIVE FORGING COMPETITION, BOTTLE OPENER (SPONSORED)

Description:

To be competed for during the Show.
A fun competition where a blacksmith has 20 minutes to make a bottle opener (Students 30 minutes) at the end of each day the representative from the sponsor or DCAA official will judge the best one from that day and the winner will take away some bottles (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic) The judge will then get to take the chosen opener home with them. A range of stock is available for use but makers can bring their own stock. One attempt per day and items from the previous days rollover
