Show Description
The Sheep Shearing area is a hub of excitement and activity all through the show. From sheep shearing competitions on all three days to demonstrations offering advice and guidance on the Friday, the area is perfect for everyone interested in sheep farming or keeping.
The World Sheep Shearing Championships or the ‘Golden Shears’ are being held in the UK the weekend after the Royal Three Counties Show this year so there will be a great opportunity to not only see many fast and skilful national competitors, but those from overseas too, having their final practice before this prestigious event.
The fleece show will be held in the ‘Farming Experience’ area for you to view comprised of a variety of fleeces from lots of different breeds.
