Driving for the Disabled The class will be divided into two sections. Both classes are open to single turnouts and subdivided into two divisions as follows – Division 1 – For a driver who is a member of an RDA Driving group and solely drives within the group. The turnout to follow all RDA Driving guidelines with a coach / whip on the carriage and a groom in attendance on the ground. Either a two or four-wheeled RDA Driving approved carriage and the horse or pony to be RDA approved. Either single or dual reins are permitted. Division 2 – For a driver who is not a member of an RDA Driving group who drives independently of any group or in open non-RDA competitions and driving activities. Either dual or single reins are permitted. To be accompanied by a competent adult (18 years or over) in either a two or four-wheeled vehicle which can be either traditional or modern.
