In our horse section we welcome back the Shires and Mounted Fancy Dress competitions.
SHIRES: Affiliated to the Shire Horse Society. It is a condition of entry that exhibitors ensure that handlers must have the necessary strength and experience to cope with foreseeable problems. Animals should not be left unattended. All exhibitors must hold a current public liability policy at the time of the show. Animals should be fully vaccinated against tetanus and flu plus they must be in good health.
MOUNTED FANCY DRESS: Open to riders 15 years & under. No points will be given for conformation of the pony. Competitors must be mounted wearing suitable head gear.

Free to enter.
PRIZE MONEY:
Please see individual classes. Prize money ranges from £50 for 1st place through to £10 for 5th place. All prize money paid in cash on the day. If there are insufficient entries the Society reserves the right to amalgamate classes or to cancel classifications.
ADMISSION TICKETS:
Two entry tickets plus an allocated vehicle pass included in your entry.
The showground gates will open at 5am on the morning of the show and will close at 7.45am. All horses must remain on the showground until after the Grand Parade.
