About Nantwich Agricultural Society

Nantwich Agricultural Society was established in 1897 to showcase agricultural practices and animal husbandry in the South Cheshire area. Over the last 126 years the Nantwich Agricultural Society has developed the Nantwich Show to be Cheshire’s premiere one-day agricultural show, always taking place on the last Wednesday of July.

The objectives of the Society are to:
◼ promote local industry in general and agriculture and rural business in particular
◼ promote buying local produce
◼ promote sustainability across all industry sectors associated with the Society
◼ host events for the exhibition of livestock, poultry, farm, horticultural produce and machinery
◼ host events for the education and promotion of the field to fork agenda and rural business
