Show Description
In the heart of the dairy county of Cheshire, no agricultural show would be complete without a cattle section and competition. We are delighted to welcome back SugaRich & as our longstanding sponsors of the Cattle Section.
The Show is licensed by DEFRA and the regulations relating to the movement of cattle will apply. All cattle must be registered in appropriate Herd Books. Beef Cattle: all to be full pedigree. All animals to be in the ownership of the exhibitor by 28th June 2023. For the purpose of this Show, a "heifer" is a female animal not having had its second calf and a "cow" is a female animal having had two or more calves. All Cattle Handlers should be aged 18 or older with the exception of those in Young Handler and Calf Classes that are age defined when they must still be supervised by an adult at all times.

ENTRY FEES:
As quoted in each Section.
PRIZE MONEY:
Adult Stock Classes: 1st £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £15 and rosettes to 4th place.
Calf & Showmanship Classes: 1st £10; 2nd £5; 3rd £5; 4th £5 and rosettes to all exhibitors.
If there are insufficient entries the Society reserves the right to amalgamate classes or to cancel classifications.
ADMISSION TICKETS:
Two entry tickets plus an allocated vehicle pass included in your entry.
The showground gates will open at 5am on the morning of the show and will close at 7.45am. All cattle must remain on the showground until after the Grand Parade.
