Show Description

🐴 Welcome to the Horse Section of Nantwich Show

We’re delighted to welcome competitors to this year’s Horse Section, featuring a full programme of Shire and Heavy Horse classes, including a Shire Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) Qualifier.

All exhibitors must hold current Public Liability Insurance and ensure horses are in good health and fully vaccinated (tetanus and flu).

Classes for foals, yearlings and adults

✨ In-Hand Shire Pairs (4 years+)
✨ Young Handlers (entries taken on the day)

Entry Fees
£20 per class (refunded in cash on attendance)
HOYS Class: £20 HOYS contribution (non-refundable)

Prize Money
See individual classes (£50 for 1st to £10 for 5th)
Classes may be amalgamated or cancelled if entries are low
Paid in cash on the day

Admission Tickets
1 horse = 2 tickets
Each additional horse = 1 extra ticket
7+ horses at Society’s discretion
Foals not included in ticket numbers
