Arena Eventer Challenge

Show Description

The eventer challenge is a ‘derby’ style competition with a section of 8-10 show jumps leading to 6-8 efforts over portable and fixed cross-country fences and finishing over a final show jump. If you knock the final fence down you will incur 6 penalties. The majority of fences will not exceed 0.90m in height. Competitors will go straight from the show jumping into the cross-country phase. The optimum time is based on a speed of 375m/minute. Classes available for both Teams and Individuals, a team is made up of four competitors with the top three scores to count.
ENTRY FEE: £120 per team. £35 per individual.
There will be a £5 first aid levy per team added to the entry fee.
PRIZES: Rosettes to 6th Place. Special Prizes for Best Pony Club Team, Best Riding Club Team and Best Golden Oldie's Team (combined competitor age of 150yrs+).
ENTRIES CLOSE 23rd August. Times will be published w/c 28th August.
DRESS: Cross country colours or jackets should be worn. Please bring your own number bib holder. Numbers will be issued at declaration at Horse Secretaries.

All Classes will be run in accordance with the rules of the relevant classes breed societies and/or under the Moreton Show Rules and Regulations. It is a requirement of all exhibitors that by entering they confirm that they have read, accept and will comply with the Rules and Regulations which can be found in the online entry form and also in the Horse Schedule.
