Live Lambs to be judged on Tuesday 25th August 2026.

** NO ADDITIONAL ENTRIES CAN BE ACCEPTED ON THE NIGHT OF THE COMPETITION **

EXHIBITORS ARE TO MAKE THEIR OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEIR LIVE LAMBS TO BE DELIVERED TO THE MELPLASH AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY SHOW GROUND BY 5.15pm ON TUESDAY 25th AUGUST FOR JUDGING.
NO LAMBS WEIGHING UNDER 42KGS CAN BE ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION

The Society will make arrangements for slaughtering at Gages Abattoir in Ashburton. Transport will be arranged by the Society and the competition co-ordinated by The Meat Men of Taunton. Please bear in mind that as sheep are moving to the showground prior to going to the abattoir you must observe any 6-day standstill in force on your premises which means sheep will only be able to attend the show if the standstill period has ended or they move out of a Defra approved isolation unit.
