Show Description

Sheep Section
There is a special section for MV sheep. Forms will be collected as exhibitors enter the show field.
Exhibitors are requested to bring completed Movement Licences to record their sheep on and off the showground and hand them to the steward at the gate.
All sheep entries must comply with DEFRA regulations in force at the time of the Show.
Liskeard Agricultural Show Holding Number 07/158/8110.
All sheep must comply with any tail docking regulations.

If there are fewer than 3 exhibitors in a section the class may be amalgamated with the Any Other Pure Breed classes.
All sheep cups to be presented after the interbreed judging in the sheep rings.
All cups should be signed for after presentation.

Entry Fees: £4.50 per entry including group classes.
Show Members: £4.00 per entry including group classes
Prizes: 1st £15, 2nd £12, 3rd £10, 4th £7, 5th £5 except where indicated differently.
(4th prize money will be awarded in classes of 5 entries or more and 5th prize money will be awarded in classes of 8 or more)

Judging commences with all the Junior & Intermediate Handler Classes at 9.00am prompt
followed by Devon and Cornwall Longwool, Dorset Horn and Polled Dorset, Hampshire Down, Jacob, Ryeland and Coloured Ryeland, Shetland, Beltex, Blue Texel, Charollais, Texel, Zwartbles, Any Other Hill and Heath
followed by Kerry Hill, Suffolk, Any Other Continental and Any Other Pure Breed.
