Show Description
The system will need you to register, then you will need to complete 'My Details' - this is for the person making the entry; this is NOT necessarily the Exhibitor/Agent or the Owner.
We advise that initially you access and read the relevant schedule for your section, e.g, Equine, Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Goats, Shoeing, etc. This will help you select the correct day/s and class/es etc. To be eligible for reduced members' entry fees, stall fees, stable fees, pen fees, the OWNER is required to be a current member of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Just click 'Memberships' at the top of this page. Prices are as follows: Single - £71.50; Joint - £110. (Only Single and Joint or Life members benefit from the reduced fees although Junior and Intermediate members can upgrade their membership to take advantage of this benefit). If you have not already purchased membership for the current year and you wish to become a YAS member, please add membership to your cart, your fees will then be adjusted accordingly upon completion of this entry. We have classes for Horses, Ponies & Donkeys spread over the four days of the Show. These are run across our three rings: Main Ring, TopSpec White Rose and the Ridings Ring. The sections are on the following days:
Tuesday:- Ridden Hunters:- Novice, Small, Weights, Workers, Heavy Horse Turnouts - Singles (including new Horse of the Year Show Qualifier for a Heavy Horse Turnout for a Two Wheeled Show Cart), Ridden Coloureds. In-Hand Cleveland Bays, Clydesdales, Irish Draught Breeding, Shires.
Wednesday:- In-Hand Coloured Youngstock, Donkeys, Dartmoors, Exmoors, Hunter Breeding, Miniature & Standard Shetlands, New Forest, Riding Pony Breeding, Sport Horse Breeding, Heavy Horse Turnouts - Pairs. Ridden Irish Draught, Ladies Side-Saddle, Riding Horses, Ridden Cobs, Maxi Cob, Retrained Racehorses.
Thursday:- In-Hand Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highland, Welsh A, B, C, D, Heavy Horse Turnouts - Teams. Ridden M&M Small & Large Breeds, Mini M&M - Lead Rein & First Ridden.
Friday:- Intermediate Show Riding Type, Intermediate Show Hunter, Traditional Cobs (TGCA). Heavy Horse Turnout Championship.
