Static Classes

Entries may be brought to the showground between 2pm and 6pm on the Friday before show day or between 7.00am & 8.15am on Saturday 2nd September. Entries after 8.15am will not be judged.

WCB certificates to the static show champion and reserve Champion from the above three classes.

Regulations

1. The judges’ decision will be final.
2. Entries must not be removed from the showground before 5.00pm Sunday.
3. Whilst every care shall be taken by the organisers in protecting each entry from loss damage or theft, the organisers shall not accept responsibility whilst items are in their possession or care.
4. The Dorset County Show operates a strict health & safety policy, correct footwear
& eye protection must be worn when live forging.
5. Previous prize-winning pieces at the Dorset County show will not be accepted for entry, although any item may be entered free for exhibition or for sale only (please check with the Chief Steward first)

Class: 3 An item of 'Contemporary Ironwork'

Description:

Any construction method may be used however, preference will be given to forged methods

An item associated with the garden on the theme of 'Autumn'. Competitors to supply their own materials.
