Entries to be compliant with all DEFRA and APHA regulations at the time of the Show.
No animal may be shown in more than one class unless otherwise stated.
All cattle transport must enter the Showground and unload as directed by 8.30am when the public gates open and remain on the Showground until after the Grand Parade (approx. 4.30pm).
For the purpose of this Show, a "heifer" is a female animal not having had its second calf and a "cow" is a female animal having had two or more calves.
The Society prohibits the sealing of cattle teats.
Should there be less than 6 entries in any Beef Cattle Section, then the Committee reserve the right to amalgamate those entries into Any Other Continental or Any Other Native Sections.
In accordance with the Society's insurance policy, all cattle handlers should be aged 16 or older with the exception of those in Young Handler and Calf Classes that are age defined when they must still be supervised by an adult al all times.
CATTLE -
ENTRY FEE: £5.00
PRIZE MONEY: 1st = £35, 2nd = £25, 3rd = £15 and 4th = £10
YOUNG HANDLER & CALF CLASSES -
ENTRY FEE: £2.00
PRIZE MONEY (cash on the day): 1st = £8, 2nd = £6, 3rd = £4 and 4th = £2
