Taunton Flower Show is an annual two-day family show held on the first Friday and Saturday of August each year, attracting around 16,000 visitors over the two days.
The Show, established in 1831, is the longest running Flower Show in the UK, and second oldest in the World. Organised by The Taunton Deane Horticultural and Floricultural Society, (Charity number 1103853), the Show is held in the beautiful surroundings of Vivary Park, Taunton.
The show is a feast for all the family, with a mix of exciting entertainment in the arena and children’s area; food and drinks; live music; garden inspiration; shopping from clothes, to gifts, art and plants.
The centre piece is the large competitive classes and floral marquees. The competitive classes are open to all and consist of approximately 380 different classes for amateur gardeners, crafters, floral artists and children. The floral marquee features specialist growers, who mount magnificent displays of exquisite flowers and plants.
New for 2023 is the dedicated Artisan Village, supporting small businesses from Somerset and surrounding areas. Crafters, designers, makers and artists can bring their handmade wares from preserves to baskets, ceramics and jewellery, cheese and cakes, art and homewares.
