Please note there are 1 additional competitions for different aged young handlers, involving accumulated points (1st, 2nd & 3rd places) from the following shows:- LISKEARD , LAUNCESTON, WOOLSERY, NORTH DEVON, OKEHAMPTON, CAMELFORD, ASHWATER and HOLSWORTHY. The final classes and overall prize giving will take place at Holsworthy & Stratton Show on August 24th.

MVF YOUNG HANDLER SERIES 2023- Supporting the next generation
Mole Valley Farmers (www.molevalleyfarmers.com) will once again be running its Young Handlers Series in 2023. This exciting league, which is open to young stock handlers (aged 12 and under on the first January 20123), features sheep, beef and dairy categories and aims to nurture the next generation of young farmers. This year we are excited to be splitting the sheep series into two age categories, Under 8 and 8-12. Children placed first, second or third at participating shows in the Young Handler Series will be allotted points throughout the season.
The overall series winner in each category will receive a cup and sash, plus £100 of Mole Valley Farmers vouchers; £50 for second place and £25 for third place.

All Children under 12 years of age on the day of the Show must be supervised by a suitable adult when leading an animal in this competition.
