Shepherds' Crooks and Walking Sticks

Show Description

i. All Sticks to have been made by the competitor.
ii. Points gained will quality for the British & United Kingdom National Stick Making Championship.
Points awarded as follows: 1st 3pts; 2nd 2pts; 3rd 1pt. Best Stick in Show awarded 3pts.
iii. All Sticks to be staged before judging which will commence at 10:00 a.m.
iv. Only the Judge and Stewards will be allowed behind the barriers.
v. To reduce the possibility of sticks being damaged, only Stewards will hand them out at the end of the competition.
vi. Horn means any type of horn other than Buffalo.

Entries may also be made at the Hill Institute, Thornton-le-Dale on 3rd August from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or sent by 16 July to: Karl Avison, The Granary, Topbridge Farm, Thornton le Dale, Pickering YO18 7RA
