Show Description
For the first time in the event's history, the Cornish Winter Fair will be run across 2 days, with the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show taking place on the Saturday and our Winter Market open across both days. Taking place on Saturday only, the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show, which has been running for more than 140 years, is all about competitions. The packed prize schedule includes cattle and sheep showing, produce, craft and cookery classes. There are competitive classes for children, local schools, WI and Young Farmers' Clubs.
ROYAL CORNWALL AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION - CORNISH POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP
This show is one of four (Liskeard, Saturday 29th October, Helston, Saturday 12th November, Wadebridge, Saturday 19th November and Truro, Wednesday 7th December) at which points will be offered towards Prizes of 1st £75 and 2nd £25 in both the Open cattle and sheep classes for the exhibitors gaining the most points over the 2022 Cornish winter show season.
Points will be awarded as follows: 1st prize 3 points, 2nd prize 2 points, 3rd prize 1 point and exhibits must be entered under the same names at the relevant shows, to be eligible.
