RNAS Countryside Live 2027 - Where Farming comes to Life

Show Description

The RNAS Countryside Live 2027 is an innovative event organised by the Royal Northern Agricultural Society (RNAS). Following the very successful events held in 2011, 2016 and 2022 it was decided to hold it again. It will take place at Middleton of Potterton, Aberdeen, a very accessible and central venue by kind permission of the Thomson Family, on Sunday 6th June 2027. There will also be an ‘application only’ day on Monday the 7th June for higher education pupils from Aberdeen City Schools.
The event aims to promote all aspects of the countryside, “live and in action” for all ages of the public. To promote a far better understanding of where their food comes from, how it is produced and offer them the opportunity to taste and purchase local produce; this in turn will help local producers find new markets for their produce and raise the public’s awareness of the wide diversity that the countryside offers.
