The Penrith Show Committee requires all cattle brought on to the field to have been Pre‐Movement Tested. All exhibitors must bring a copy of their Pre‐Movement Testing
Certificate, which the Show will keep for their records. Passports & Pre‐movement testing certificates must be kept at hand to show to Cattle Stewards when entering the cattle area. They must then be taken to the Passport Office before judging commences.
Exhibitors must be aware and adhere to all DEFRA’s current regulations to show day, for animals, health schemes, biosecurity etc. For BCMS each animal that arrives at the showground must have the following documentation: relevant passport (see above).
No animal shall come before the judges more than once except in the case of specials, pairs, and championships. Breed champions only to go forward for the Supreme Championship.
MILKING FACILITIES WILL BE PROVIDED, ALL ANIMALS TO BE HALTER TRAINED
STRICTLY NO MOVEMENT OF LIVESTOCK OFF THE SHOWFIELD BEFORE THE GRAND PARADE
