Rules
• The winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties, in the event of a tie the winner will be decided by the timed section
• There will be no optimum time around the whole course
• There will be a timed section, which will consist of four fences, completed in any direction/order
• Each rider/horse combination are only allowed to enter one class
• Each rider can enter a maximum of three horses/ponies per class
• No age restrictions, however rider must be suitably mounted
• Body protectors and hats to current specifications must be worn, with no fixed peaks
• There will be no more than 25 jumping efforts in total, cross country jumps will be solid and fixed, there may be a bullfinch and water trays
• Stop watches are not permitted
• The judges decision is final
• Penalties will be incurred for refusals and knock downs:
• There will be 10 penalties for first refusal, 20 penalties for a second refusal, three refusals equal elimination
• knock down will be 4 penalties
• Horses/ponies must be four years old and over
• There will be a mounted presentation at the end of each class
• Entry to the final will be £20
• Entries to be made via SHOWINGSCENE.COM
• Rosettes to 6th place.
These classes are qualifiers for the NPS/Anthony Evans Arena Eventing Challenge Final. No membership is required to qualify. Any pony (158cm or under) achieving a top ten finish will qualify for the final to be held on 14th September at Vale View Equestrian Centre.
