Class: 4 Open Live Forging

Description:

This NBCC qualifying class will be judged together with class 5 to find an overall winner and runner up
Forge a piece inspired by your interpretation of the title, it can be sculptural and or functional. Using no pre shaped metal elements although other materials such as wood, glass, stone etc are allowed.
All competitors to bring their own materials, tools, safety equipment; no special tools are required.
Only the competitors first forging piece will be judged for the NBCC competition.
Time allowed 1 hour 30 minutes, including clean up time. Time will start when the metal is placed in the fire.
Starting time to be arranged by the Steward on the day of the Show.

Prizes: 1st - £75, 2nd - £50 and 3rd - £25
