Conditions of Entry and Show Regulations
Exhibitors should read carefully the ‘Guidance for Exhibitors’ at the front and the ‘Show Regulations and Information’ at the back of this schedule.
Please Note: by making an entry, the exhibitor is making an agreement to comply with all the Newark & Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society Conditions & Regulations.

Entry Closing Date: Wednesday 16th September 2026
Entries should be made as early as possible, only those received before the closing date will be catalogued and allocated space accordingly.

Family Entries
Exhibitors from the same household/address should enter under one name, e.g., Smith Family or Mr & Mrs Smith. Every exhibitor pack is a cost to the show.
Each household can enter multiple exhibitors and exhibits under one username/account. Wristbands will be allocated on a per household basis.

Non-Competitive Entries
If you do not wish for your entry to be judged, please enter the appropriate class for the exhibit and in the entry form there is a question asking, ‘Would you like this entry to be judged?’, select ‘No’.

Prizes:
Rosettes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd places.

Annual trophies will be awarded in some classes and presented at the Awards Presentation in the Sir Stuart Goodwin at 6:00pm on the Saturday evening of the Show.

If trophies are taken away from the Showground, it is requested that they are returned by August the following year to the NNAS office, Newark Showground. All 2025 trophy winners need return their trophy by Friday 7th August 2026.

Tickets/Household
Each exhibitor will receive tickets in the form of complimentary wristbands as listed below:
1 tractor/exhibit 2 wristbands
2– 3 tractors/exhibits 3 wristbands
4 or more tractors/exhibits 4 wristbands

Check-in and Check-out
On arrival at Purple Gate, exhibitors will need to check-in their exhibits and pick up their exhibitor packs. Packs will only be given to the named exhibitor and must be collected in whole. It is requested that exhibitors arrive with their exhibit wherever possible.
A pass-out system will be running over the weekend to monitor exhibits leaving the Showground, more details will be provided with your exhibitor pre-show information.

Unloading & Parking
Any exhibitor requiring to use the unloading ramp, must inform the check-in steward when collecting their exhibitor pack prior to unloading.

Exhibits are to be unloaded on arrival. Exhibitors are welcome to sheet down their exhibit, but the sheet must be removed by 8.30am on both days of the Show.

Any exhibits arriving outside of the set-up times will be directed to park in a holding area, for unloading during set times. Under no circumstances should any exhibit be unloaded outside these times.

Tracked or Metal Wheeled Vehicles & Machinery
Tracked or Metal Wheeled Vehicles & Machinery must not drive or manoeuvre on the tarmac roads within the showground, tracked or metal wheeled vehicles are to be unloaded directly on to their exhibitor location.

Tracked or Metal Wheeled Vehicles & Machinery are not permitted to enter or be exhibited in the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall (GSEH) or Lady Eastwood Centre (LEC). NNAS reserve the right to ask anyone who does not adhere to this request to leave the Showground. Exhibitors of tracked or metal-wheeled vehicles located in other halls must seek advice from Stewards on arrival and before unloading. Road bands are preferred on metal-wheeled tractors.

Tractor Locations and Judging of Entries
Details of where your entry is to be positioned in the show will be provided with your exhibitor pre-show information. It is important not to move from this position so that your class judge can find your tractor. Any exhibit that is not in its correct location
will not be judged.

Exhibit numbers must be displayed clearly to help your class judge identify your exhibit.

If you wish for your exhibit to be located on a Club Stand, please enter the show first and then apply directly to the Club to be on their stand. Otherwise, your entry will be located in the class it is entered. All Clubs are responsible for nominating which exhibits are on their individual Club stand.

The Society reserves the right to move exhibits if it sees fit to do so. In these instances, judging sheets will be amended.

Exhibitor Camping
Exhibitor camping must be pre-booked with your entry which includes camping for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and use of the Showgrounds camping facilities. Camping is only permitted in the exhibitor camping area. Exhibitors camping in commercial vehicles with sleeping accommodation separate to the cab, must buy an exhibitor camping pass.

Newark and Notts Agricultural Society members exhibiting at the Show are eligible for 1 complimentary exhibitor camping pass as part of our membership benefits package. If you would like to join and support the Society, membership can be purchased through Showing Scene with your entry. Please note that 1 membership option = 1 complimentary exhibitor camping pass.
