8.30am - Sports Horse, Thoroughbreds & Hunters, Irish Draught, Riding & Hunter Ponies in Hand, Arabs, Highland Ponies, Potential Ride & Drive, Shetland Ponies, Coloured Horses & Ponies, Veteran Horses &Ponies, Mountain & Moorland, Ridden Ponies & Hunter & Hacks and Working Hunter, Clydesdales & Clydesdale pure or part pure under saddle.
11.45am - Shetland Pony Championship.
Horses and Ponies may be entered in more than one class. However, if an Exhibitor has entered more than one class and both are being judged at the same time, exhibitors must decide which class to enter. No judging will be delayed to enable exhibitors to enter both. All ridden class competitors must wear headgear conforming to EN1384 or above (PAS 015 or ASTM). All passports must be taken to the show to be made available for inspection at any time.
Caledonian Showing Championships
This show is a qualifier for the Caledonian Showing Championships, which is now fully established as the biggest and best way to end Scottish showing season. This year’s show will be held at Howe EC, near Ladybank, Fife 16th to 18th October, 2026. Every horse & pony placed 1st in all Inhand, Ridden Showing classes (not fun classes) & Working Hunter/Pony classes will qualify to compete in any appropriate class at the Finals. All Champions & Reserves will qualify for the Champion & Reserves Stakes Finals. Qualification will be from placings, no qualification cards will be awarded in the ring, and no qualification can go down the line. All qualified horses and ponies will be listed on the Puddle dub Show’s Facebook

Irish Draught
This show is affiliated to the Irish Draught Society (GB) and as such all exhibitors in classes
15, 16, 17 & 18 must be eligible under the below criteria:-
• All horses must be registered with or over stamped by the IDHS (GB) and in the correct
ownership
• Owners of Pure Bred Irish Draughts and Irish Draught Sport Horse (Part Bred) must be
full members of the IDHS (GB) to compete
Irish Draught Part Breds (Sport Horse) are horses that have a minimum of 25% proven
Irish Draught breeding
• In hand breeding classes
• MARES with foals at foot, 3 years and over must be inspected and classified as Class 1
(or RID), Class 2 or Supplementary Grade Up (or AID)
• Pure Bred youngstock must be the progeny of an inspected Mare (Class 1, Class 2, RID
(GB), AID or Supplementary Grade Up Register) and be by a Class 1, 2 or RID (GB)
stallion on the Irish Draught Breed Register.
• Pure Bred ID and ID Part Bred (Sport Horse), 3 year old colts must be un-inspected
• All 1, 2 & 3 year old colts must be bitted and shown by an experienced handler over 18
years of age

GENERAL QUALIFIER INFORMATION:
• The Finals of all IDHS (GB) qualifiers will be held at the IDHS (GB) National Championship
Show on 5th & 6th September 2026 at Pickering Grange Equestrian, Pickering Grange
Farm, Ellistown, Terrance Road, Coalville, LE67 1EZ.
• All owners of qualified horses will be contacted by a member of the IDHS (GB) Show
Affiliation Team
• Horses can only qualify for a specific Final once, regardless of the type or number of
classes won, placed in or entered.
