All cows and heifers are required to be entered in the Coates's Herd Book Main, Supplementary or Grade B sections. To be red, white or roan in colour.
These classes are run under the Shorthorn Dairy Society Showing Regulations.

Dexters

Description:

Affiliated with the Dexter Cattle Society

Dexter Female Championship: to be judged from the first prize-winners in classes 223 to 226. The Champion Female will automatically be entered in the Best of Breed.
Dexter Champion Bull: to be judged from the first prize-winners in classes 228 & 229. The Bull Championship will automatically be entered in the Best of Breed.
The Best of Breed will be judged from the winners of the Dexter Female Championship and the Dexter Bull Championship.

Every animal must be entered in the Herd Book of the Dexter Cattle Society
