Malham & Kilnsey Show Mountain and Moorland Championship - Competitors will accumulate points for the Mountain and Moorland classes entered at both shows with a Championship trophy awarded to the points winner at Kilnsey Show, sponsored by Cragview Highland Ponies.
Rules
• Pure bred Mountain and Moorland ponies only, Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest Fells, Dales, Highland, Connemara, Welsh A, B, C and D
• All ridden ponies must be 4 years and over on the day of the shows.
• Stallions welcome however must display stallion disc, wear correct harness and tack and be handled by persons 16 years and over.
• All ponies to be shown in natural state, with snaffle bridles and riders with no spurs.
• Points will accumulate as follows: 1pt for each and every Mountain and Moorland class entered then awarded for class placings: 1st Place, 10pts: 2nd Place, 8 points: 3rd Place, 6pts: 4th Place, 4 pts.
• Points will be totaled at the end of the final class at Kilnsey before awarding Championship.
