Miniature Garden Competition

The Kent County Agricultural Society is celebrating the 100th birthday this year. We would love to see how you would commemorate any major event of the last 100 years by way of a 'container' garden piece, using any colours & plants you choose. We are looking for imaginative interpretations to a size no bigger than 2 meters by 1 meter.

All entries must be received by 1st May 2023, entries received after this date may not be accepted.

Each entry will receive 6 admission tickets to the show

There will be four main considerations that the judges will be assessing. These are: Overall Impression, Design, Planting and Construction.

Gardens will be judged to a RHS standard and prize cards will be awarded for 1st £75.00, 2nd £50.00 3rd place £25.00
Other
Gardens must be set up by 7.00pm on Thursday 6 July and it must remain that way until 5.00pm on Sunday 9th July.
The ground must be returned to its original state once you have vacated the area.
From 4.00pm on Sunday 9th July you may sell the plants which make up your stand.

Hanging Basket & Decorative Pot Competition

Each entrant will be allocated an area 4’ square for the pot and facilities will be provided for hanging the basket above. Exhibitors are required to stage their exhibit in their own 12” hanging basket and a matching 12” terrace pot in terracotta or like material, planted with suitable summer material, to complement each other.
