Show Description

The 2025 Herts county show is going to stay a 2 day show as it worked so well last year, livestock will be aloud on the showground from 10am on the Friday till 8am on the Saturday.
Please Please if you wish to come in on the Saturday morning make sure the livestock team know you will be coming in as all gates will be lock from 10pm on the Friday night,

Docking, Current legislation requires that lambs must have sufficient tail retained to cover the vulva of a female sheep and the anus of the male sheep.
Sheep will be inspected in the lines by the show's veterinary officer. Mr Jon Goodson.

All sheep in breed classes must be eligible for registration in the breed society flock book.
Straw will be provided.
All prize winning sheep are expected to enter the grand parade either on both Saturday & Sunday.

The best Exhibitor's stand within the sheep lines, a case of beer will be presented on the Sunday just after the championship.
