WE ARE EXPERIENCING A HIGH NUMBER OF ENTRIES. BEFORE YOU ENTER YOUR CLASSES, PLEASE CLICK ON "BOOK EVENT EXTRAS" WHICH LISTS ALL THE BREED PENS, AND WHETHER THEY ARE SOLD OUT. IF SO, PLEASE EMAIL LIVESTOCK@YAS.CO.UK WITH YOUR DETAILS AND YOU WILL BE ADDED TO A WAITING LIST. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS WE CAN IF ANY PENS BECOME AVAILABLE.

The system will need you to register, then you will need to complete 'My Details' - this is for the person making the entry; this is NOT necessarily the Owner.
We advise that initially you access and read the relevant schedule for your section, e.g, Sheep, Equine, Cattle, Pigs, Goats, Shoeing, etc. This will help you select the correct day/s and class/es etc. when you make your entries for our Show. To be eligible for reduced members' entry fees, pen fees, stable fees, stall fees, the OWNER/EXHIBITOR is required to be a current member of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. Just click 'Memberships' at the top of this page. Prices are as follows: Single - £71.50; Joint - £110. (Only Single and Joint or Life members benefit from the reduced fees although Junior and Intermediate members can upgrade their membership to take advantage of this benefit). If you have not already purchased membership for the current year and you wish to become a YAS member, please add membership to your cart, your fees will then be adjusted accordingly upon completion of this entry. The sections are on the following days:
Tuesday:- AOP Continental/Native, AOP Down, AOP Longwool, AOP Primitive, AOP Hill/Heath, Badger Face Texel, Beltex, Bleu du Maine, Blue Texel, Border Leicester, British Berrichon, British Charollais, Butchers Lambs, Castlemilk Moorit, Clun Forest, Coloured Ryeland, Commercial Lamb Carcases, Crossbred Commercial Female, Dalesbred, Derbyshire Gritstone, Hebridean, Herdwick, Jacob, Leicester Longwool, Lincoln Longwool, Lonk, Valais Blacknose, Zwartbles. The Wool Fleece Competition is also held on the Tuesday of Show (see separate section/schedule).
Wednesday:- Blackface, Bluefaced Leicester, British Rouge, Dorset Horn/Poll Dorset, Dutch Spotted, Hampshire Down, Kerry Hill, LLeyn, Masham, Mule, North Country Cheviot-Park, Oxford Down, Rough Fell, Ryeland, Shetland, Suffolk, Swaledale, Teeswater, Texel, Wensleydale, Whitefaced Woodland.
Thursday:- Commercial Female Championship, Interbreed Supreme Championships, Young Handlers Competition.
Friday:- Open Pair of Ewe Lambs, Open Pair of Tup Lambs, Open Pair of Lambs Championship, Interbreed Pairs Competitions (from the winners of the pairs class in each breed), Interbreed Groups Competitions (from the winners of the groups class in each breed), Wool on the Hoof Competitions.
• Entries will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis (via the online system on our website) • Only 1 Livestock entry application per holding number will be accepted • Exhibitors are restricted to 2 entries per class • Changes to entries must be made via email and must be done prior to entry close 27th April; after this date, any changes will be purely at discretion of the Livestock Team and are certainly NOT guaranteed.
