There’s no such thing as “just a sheep”! Sheep are incredible animals, able to adapt to living on the hills or lowland fields as well as tolerating extremes temperatures, according to their breed. As with cattle, new breeds have been introduced from abroad, but at Garstang Show, we’re delighted to welcome a huge variety breeds for your perusal. From the local hill sheep, the Mule, to the Beltex, famed for its excellent meat, every animal is bred for a purpose, whether it be gracing your dining table or clothing you with its wool.
