Exhibitors will be able to stage their exhibits from 12pm on Thursday 10th September until 2.45pm on Friday 11th September. Judging commences at 3pm on Friday 11th September. Lighting and water will be provided. All exhibits and displays must be kept intact and NO plants removed until after 5pm. Arrangements will be made for the parking of vehicles near the marquee during set up and removal times, which must be not less than 3m (10ft) from the marquee walls.

The J W SINGER & SONS LTD PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP will be awarded to the Exhibitor gaining the most points in this section.

A PERPETUAL TROPHY will be awarded to the exhibit with the best use of Garden Plant Material in any of the Floral Art classes, kindly donated by the late Mrs C. B. B. Sumsion.

A PERPETUAL TROPHY donated by the late Lena Ring will be given to the exhibitor who wins class 51.

Rules:
A definition of an exhibit as taken from the NAFAS competition manual 4th edition 2023. An exhibit is composed of natural plant material, in all its forms, with or without accessories. Disqualification will take place for the following reason: Failure to comply with any specific requirements of a class as stated in the show schedule, e.g. the measurements or components. If inclusion of fresh plant material that does not have roots or the cut ends of stems are not in water or water retaining material unless they fall in the exception category. Air plants, cacti, fruits fungi, grass turf, litchen, moss succulents and vegetables. NAFAS is encouraging the use of alternative to floral foam, but it can still be used. No artificial plant material may be used except where stated. A white background and back table covering approx 91.5cms high and a similar table covering will be supplied. Unless otherwise stated, all exhibits will be allowed 76cms table width, approx 63.5cms table depth and height optional. Exhibitors may use their own self-supporting background. All exhibits must be arranged in the marquee with the exception of class 44, 45, 50 and 51. Please be aware of the environment when using floral foam if an alternative can be used. When thinking about the environment. There are many things to consider when flower arranging without the use of foam. Alternatives i.e agra wool, pin holders, pebbles, wire and netting, test tubes, moss, potatoes, play sand and tubing of any sort.
