All children's entries must contain the class numbers, their name and address and age on show day. Paper entries must be sent to Mrs. Lyn Coldbeck at the above address.
Entries close Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 23.59.
Judging commences at 10.00.prompt.
All Exhibitors must collect their exhibits by 17.30.
ROSETTES ARE AWARDED FOR: FIRST; SECOND;THIRD PLACES IN ALL CLASSES
Prize money: First £4; Second £3: Third £2. Entry fee 25p.
Children's Blue exhibitors tickets will be sent in the POST after the Entry Closing Date.
Because we are in a Marquee and are limited by methods of display, we have found that paintings, drawings, collages and prints look better if they do not exceed A3 size and are not framed.
Prize money will be paid out in the school children's tent at 16.30. on the day of the show.
Trophies/cups are awarded perpetually as follows:
The MR. and MRS. TED RICHARDSON TROPHY to the winner of class 231 Egton Show Catalogue Cover for 2027 16 years old or under.
The JUSTIN SHARDLOW MEMORIAL CUP to the winner of class 267 Any Article of Craft non needlework 8 to 9 years old.
The KEITH HUMPHRIES MEMORIAL TROPHY for best exhibit 11 years old or under.
The JOHN COSTILLO MEMORIAL CUP for Best Handwriting exhibit 16 years old or under.
The SANDMOOR TROPHY for most points 11 years old and under.
The ESK CUP for most points 12 to 16 year olds.
