First Ridden Show Pony Mare or Gelding 4 years old & over, not exceeding 122cms. Suitable to be ridden by a rider not to have attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable snaffle bridle.

Leading Rein Pony of Hunter Type, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 122cms. Suitable to be ridden by a rider hot to have attained their 9th Birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by and attendant & shown in a snaffle bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband.

Mixed Height Intermediate Show Riding Type. Mare or Gelding 4 years old & over, exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 158cms. Suitable to be ridden by a rider not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year

Novice Working Hunter - Mare or Gelding 4 years old & over exceeding 153cms not having won a first prize of £30 or a total (or equivalent values) in prize money in any Working Hunter Class, or more than 10 BE points or £150 BS Showjumping at home or abroad, before 1st January in the relevant year. Fences in Novice Working Hunter classes should have a minimum height of 0.85m (2'9") & a maximum height of 1.07m (3'6").

Open Working Hunter - Mare or Gelding 4 years old & over exceeding 153cms. Grade A Showjumpers and Advanced Event Horses are not eligible to compete in these classes. Fences should have a maximum height of 1.14m (3'9")

Mixed Height Novice WHP/ Intermediate WH Mare or Gelding, 4 years old & over, not exceeding 158cms. Riders MUST jump in their correct height section & be of the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. Riders may ride more than 1 pony providing the animals are of a dirrerent height section. Riders must declare if they are competing in the 153cms or the Intermediate Section

Mixed Height Open WHP/ Intermediate WH Mare or Gelding, 5 years old & over, not exceeding 158cms. Riders MUST jump in their correct height section & be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. Riders may ride more than one pony providing the animals are of a different height section (see Rule 37). Riders must declare if they are competing in the 153cms or the Intermediate section

WHP - Cradle Stakes, Mare or Gelding 4 years old & over, not exceeding 122cms. Suitable to be ridden by a rider not to have attained their 11th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

WHP - Open Nursery Stakes, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old & over, not exceeding 133cms. Suitable to be ridden by a rider not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
