Regulation: Hard Hats MUST be worn – competitors not wearing regulation hard hats will be asked to dismount and leave the ring immediately. Refer to the rules on pages 24 & 25 of the Schedule.
Age of Ponies — No animal under the age of four years may be shown in these classes.
This class will be split on Show Day if sufficient entries forward in the ring into:
(a) Best Pony Club pony ridden by a Pony Club member. Riders aged 16 years and under. Pony to be suitable for all Pony Club activities and may be required to jump a small fence.
(b) Lead Rein. Pony to be suitable for Pony Club activities. Will NOT be required to jump.

Mark sheets will be available for competitors to collect from the Horse Field Secretary tent after completion of all four classes.
Time permitting, entries will also be taken at the side of Ring 2 on Show Day. Entry fee will be £15 for competitors with ponies that have placed entries in advance and thus already on site.

Classes 355 & 356 will be conducted according to BRITISH SHOWJUMPING rules.
To that end, all entrants agree to abide by these rules.
Members will ride in accordance to British Showjumping Rule 22.

Handy Horse Obstacle Training
In-hand classes will have five obstacles to demonstrate the calmness and rapport between horse and leader. All leaders must wear gloves, a hat to BSI Standard and safe footwear. Horses or ponies to be led in a controller halter or bridle with a long lead rope. Whips can be carried. Horses or ponies must be three years old or over.
Ridden classes will have approximately ten obstacles to include river crossing, figure of eight, step back, slalom and side step.
All riders must wear a hat to latest BSI Standard and safe riding boots. Horses or ponies must be 4 years old or over.
In the case of equal marks, the optimum time taken will be taken into consideration for awarding the prizes.
