SHEEP SECTION

No Exhibit may be shown in more than one class (except for the Group of Three).

Judging starts at 9.15 a.m.

All sheep are required on the showground by 8.00 a.m. on 31st August and may leave the ground after 4.00 p.m.

ENTRY FEES: SHEEP PENS Members £10, Non-Members £12 (inc. VAT)

PLEASE NOTE: EACH BREED MUST BE PENNED SEPARATELY and no more than 2 SHEEP/PEN except classes 215/216 (Butchers Lambs)

PRIZE MONEY AND PRIZE CARDS IN ALL SHEEP CLASSES (except Young Handlers):
1st £22: 2nd £12: 3rd £8: unless shown otherwise

ROSETTES IN ALL SHEEP CLASSES:
1st - 4th

SPECIAL NOTE
While any dipping order is in force a declaration on the appropriate form must be completed and accompany the sheep to certify that the sheep have been dipped as required.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL EXHIBITORS
Sheep Health Scheme entries from MAEDI VISNA MV accredited flocks and scrapie-monitored entries will be penned separately in accordance with the information declared on the entry form by the Exhibitor. A Certificate of Official Status is required, and must be presented on arrival and a copy must be sent with the entry form.

GRAND PARADE
The Supreme Sheep Champion and Reserve will be required to parade.

POINTS CUP
A SILVER CHALLENGE CUP (13), presented by LORD KEMSLEY, to be held for one year, will be awarded to the Exhibitor gaining the most points in Classes 174 - 216 excluding classes 183 & 186.

Scale of Points; 1st - 3; 2nd - 2; 3rd - 1.
