Carcase Cattle
Entrants of the Carcase Section must be members of Quality Meat Scotland Farm Assurance Scheme (livestock should be whole life assured) and must satisfy all appropriate Food Chain Information documents as required by Stoddart’s Ayr. Entrants from Scottish holdings only.
Livestock will be paid according to Woodheads/Stoddarts price grid and the base price on that given week, subject to the abattoirs terms and conditions which are available on request.
Payment can be made to an appointed agent/market or nominated bank account.
Judging will take place in early July with prizes presented at the Border Union Show on Saturday 25th July 2026.
Rosettes and Prize Money 1st – 3rd place in each class
Should entries be sufficient classes will be split further into weight classes. This decision will be made by the Stewards.
