RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. Using Lego non-kit create an agricultural feature eg. Tractor & Bailer, Rural Country Scene, Farmyard Structure.
2. Size 450-450mm max. cubed.
3. Competition is open to children age 5-13yrs.
4. Exhibit to be displayed on a Lego Board
5. The exhibit must be the sole work of the child.
6. Special qualifying class will be held at selected shows.
7. Judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
8. Two exhibits will qualify at the selected shows.
9. Qualifying exhibit(s) to be photographed by the relevant qualifying show and forwarded to the National Secretary before the final.
10. Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
11. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All- Ireland final.
12. Consistency of size is important.

FINAL: ARVA SHOW Sunday 26th July 2026

IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION & BALLYSHANNON AGRICULTURAL SHOW PRESENT THE ALL IRELAND TRADITIONAL HANDMADE CRAFT CHAMPIONSHIP

RULES AND CONDITIONS:
1. All items must be the sole work of the exhibitor.
2. Each exhibit must consist of one article from point A plus one other article from points B, C or D making total of 2 articles:
A. Any article using tweed eg Picture (Min Size 12”x12” - Max Size 18”x18” excluding the frame and mount), Cushion (Min Size 16”x16” - Max Size 18”x18”) or skirt (adult size only)
B. Any article in coloured or self-coloured embroidery made in the current year.
C. Hand Knit cardigan, lumber jacket or jumper, adult size only.
D. Any article in cotton crochet using no thicker than a No 20 cotton thread.
3. All the above to be made in the current year.
4. The items to be displayed as one exhibit
5. Any item the judge feels is produced by any other method other than hand shall be disqualified.
6. A special class will be held at each qualifying show.
7. Two entries may qualify from each qualifying show for the final, if judges agree that the standard is high enough a second entry may be qualified. The Qualifiers from each of these shows will go forward to the final to be held at the Ballyshannon Agricultural Show, on Sunday 16th August.
8. Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a rosette on appearance at the final.
9. Judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
10. Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk
11. The foregoing rules should be read in conjunction with ISA General rules, together with Ballyshannon Show Rules.
12. Exhibits must be in place for judging by 10.30am on Sunday 16th August 2026.
13. Exhibits cannot be removed from final before 4.30pm.
14. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland Final.
It is important that exhibitors check measurements stated under the Rules & Conditions.

FINAL: BALLYSHANNON SHOW, Sunday 16th August 2026

THE IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION & VIRGINIA SHOW SOCIETY PRESENT THE FLEETWOOD PAINTS ALL IRELAND AMATEUR PAINTING COMPETITION Prize Fund €1,150

RULES & CONDITIONS:
1. Paintings must be the sole work of the exhibitor who must have amateur status (see rule 7)
2. Paintings to depict an Agricultural or Rural setting
3. Paintings must measure no more than 24”X 20” not including the frame
4. All Paintings must be ready to hang, that is framed and with a hanging cord attached
5. The Judge’s decision will be final
6. All entries to be exhibited at owner’s risk
7. All entries to have amateur status as defined by the following:
• Not to have had a commercial solo exhibition
• Not to have exhibited in a commercial gallery
• Not to be teaching or have taught art in any form
8. In the event of a signed and written objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
9. Maximum of two exhibits only from any one exhibitor can qualify
10. Maximum of 2 exhibits from any one show to qualify for final.
11. Qualifying exhibit(s) to be photographed by the relevant qualifying show. Secretaries to forward same to the National Secretary in advance of the Final.
12. The same painting that qualifies at the qualifying show must be exhibited at the Final.
13. These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules.

To avoid any confusion would exhibitors please print their name & phone no on a label & attach to back of the painting.
All finalists will also receive admission ticket for Virginia Show and Fleetwood voucher (Kindly sponsored by Virginia Show and Fleetwood Paints, Ireland)

FINAL: VIRGINIA SHOW: Wednesday, 19th August 2026

IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION & TULLAMORE SHOW SOCIETY PRESENT THE ODLUM’S ALL IRELAND HOME BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP

1. Items to be displayed on individual plates (3 tiered plates can be used for the smaller items) to enhance presentation and each exhibitor will be allocated their own space (trays optional) on a base 24” Square.
2. Points will be awarded for taste, texture, appearance of baked items and presentation.
3. The competition is confined to amateurs, with one entry per exhibitor at the final.
4. The items must be fresh, and home baked by exhibitor.
5. In the event of a signed and written objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
6. A special class will be held at each qualifying show. Two entries may qualify from these shows for the final, if judges and ISA agree that the standard is high enough. The Qualifiers from each of these shows will go forward to the final, to be held at the Tullamore Show, on Sunday August 9th.
7. Non adherence to tray sizes will deem elimination of exhibit.
8. All items will be cut and/or sampled by the judge.
9. Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a hamper containing Odlums products, on appearance at the final.
10. Certificates will be awarded to the finalists.
11. The judge’s decisions at all stages of the competition, IS FINAL.
12. Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
13. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.

Marquee open from 7.30am on show morning and will be closed for judging at 10am sharp. Marquee will open to the public at 12 noon and exhibits may not be removed before 5pm.

FINAL: TULLAMORE & FBD NATIONAL LIVESTOCK SHOW: Sunday, 9th August 2026

RULES AND CONDITIONS
1 Display three pots of preserves, one from each section below. Pots to be no bigger than 454gms. (1lb) all the same size. Max. space allowed 22cm. x 22cm.
• Soft Fruits
• Stoned Fruits
• Marmalade
2. Points will be awarded for taste, appearance, sealing, setting and presentation
3. Lids only to be used.
4. All three pots to be labelled
5. No biscuits or scones to be displayed with exhibit.
6. Simple presentation only required.
7. The competition is confined to amateurs.
8. Two exhibits will qualify from each show.
9. The exhibits must be home produced by the exhibitor.
10. In the event of a signed and written objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making a living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
11. A special class will be held at each qualifying show.
12. All preserves will be sampled.
13. The judge’s decision at all stages of the competition is final

15. For the final fresh pots of preserves must be entered.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. Theme: “Natural Landscape of Ireland” (scenery).
2. The competition is confined to all amateurs.
3. Photographs maybe of any format, ie. digital or film, black and white or colour.
4. Photographs must not be framed or mounted
5. Photographs must not be digitally enhanced but must have a border.
6. Size of photograph to be A5 including border.
7. A qualifying class will be held at each show.
8. Two exhibits may qualify from each show if the standard is high enough.
9. All photographs must have the class number and exhibit number on the back of the photograph.
10. Exhibits are displayed at the owners’ risk.
11. The Judges discission is final.
12. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland Final.
