Show Description

1. TURRIFF SHOW OPEN JUNIOR UNAFFILIATED SHOWJUMPING QUALIFIER
Prompt For ponies 148 cms and under with riders aged 16 and under on the day of the Show (Monday 3RD August 2026). The first six ponies to qualify must jump clear in first round disregarding those already qualified. Although unaffiliated, judged in accordance with Table Single Phase, 300m.p.m. British Showjumping rules; height of jumps 90cms. Final to be held immediately after. Qualifier can be used as a warm-up.
Entry Fee: £12 per entry
Qualifier winner will receive a sash. Rosettes presented to winners.
Qualifiers will also to be held at the Balhagan Equestrian, Bennachie Pony Club, Bogenraith Equestrian, Cabin Equestrian Centre, Caledonian Riding Club, Deveron Pony Club, East Aberdeenshire (Buchan) Pony Club, Findon Riding Club, Ladyleys Equestrian, Moray Riding Club, Mundole Equestrian, Ross-shire Pony Club, Tillyoch Equestrian Centre & Viewmount Equestrian Centre.

2. To follow directly after Event 1.

No entry fee for pre-qualifiers
For ponies 148cms and under with riders aged 16 and under on the day of the Show (Monday 3RD August 2026). Final for qualifiers. Although unaffiliated, judged in accordance with Table A7 at 300mpm. British Showjumping rules; height of jumps 1 metre. All clear rounds will go through to the jump off.
Awards: 1st prize will receive a sash, £50 Harbro voucher, a rug presented by the Mairs, Kinnermit, Turriff and the Rose of Sligo Trophy; 2nd £40 Harbro voucher and numnah; 3rd £30, Harbro voucher and numnah; 4th £20 Harbro voucher; 5th and 6th £10 Harbro vouchers. Rosettes and medals presented to winners to 6th place.

Entry Fee: £17 per entry
For British Showjumping registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. Judged in accordance with Table Single Phase, speed 325mpm. Height of jumps 1.00 metres.
Prize Money: 1st £100 and sash; 2nd £60; 3rd £50; 4th £40; 5th £35; 6th £30.

4. THE BLAIR EQUIBUILD & CLEANROUND EQUINE 1.10 METRES OPEN
Entry Fee: £17 per entry.

For British Showjumping registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. Judged in accordance with Single Phase, subject to entries, speed 325mpm. Height of jumps1.10 metres.
Prize Money: 1st £145, sash and Perpetual Blair Equibuild Trophy; 2nd £90; 3rd £75; 4th £60; 5th £45; 6th £35.

5. MORRISON MOTORS, TURRIFF OPEN GRAND PRIX 1.20 METRES OPEN
Entry Fee: £25 per entry.
For British Showjumping registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members, in accordance with Rule 79. Judged in accordance with Table A10, speed 350mpm. Starting Height 1.25 metres.
Prize Money: 1st £200, sash, a rug presented by Morrison Motors, Turriff and the Perpetual Paradise Found Trophy presented by the Chris Barclay, Insch; 2nd £120; 3rd £100; 4th £75; 5th £55; 6th £50.

6. MINI-MAJOR RELAY
No Entry Fee.
First six prize winning competitors from Event numbers 2 and 5 will be eligible to compete in pairs to each complete a show jumping round in the quickest time, with the fewest faults. No Doubles or Combination Fences. British Showjumping rules, Rule 282, Table C, speed 325 m.p.m.
