All stock to be penned by 9am for judging at 10am. Please note - parking is now available for exhibitors directly behind the Fur and Feather tent at it's new location on the showground. HOWEVER, vehicle movement in this area is restricted between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Anyone arriving after 8.30am will need to park in the public parking areas. Full details will be provided on your vehicle pass.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
-All entries are accepted only on the condition that the Exhibitor consents to the rules of Ryedale Show, and the National Pigeon Association alongside the current DEFRA Regulations.
-All exhibitors will need to provide a County Parish Holding number(CPH) on the Declaration and Entry forms (sent out with entry tickets/passes) Available from DEFRA (03000200301).
- All pigeons entering the show must be vaccinated for paramyxovirus with an authorised vaccine as per the guidelines issued by DEFRA in the Government’s ‘Veterinary Medicines Directorate’
-Declaration/ Vaccination Certificate forms that include vaccination batch number alongside the full ring numbers must be filled in and brought on the day of the Show, NOT to be posted with entries.
-No birds other than those entered in the show must be brought onto the Showground.
-No entries can be accepted from exhibitors living in a 3km protection zone or 10Km surveillance zone on the date of the Show.
-Carrying boxes and bedding MUST be clean.
-This Show is held in accordance with the rules of the National Pigeon Association, with the exception of the Flying Pigeons Sections.
-The Racing Pigeon section is held in accordance with the rules of the Royal Pigeon Racing Association.
-All birds except Flying Tipplers, Show Rollers, West of England Flying Tumblers, Racing Homers and imported birds rung with the appropriate ring of the governing body of country of origin, must wear the ring of the National Pigeon Association.
