All sheep are to be brought to the Royal Cornwall Showground on Tuesday 16 November at 8.30am, to be then transported by the show to R & J Trevarthen, butchers, for slaughter. Please ensure that movement forms have the destination as R & J Trevarthen. Entries to be split into 2 classes by Deadweight after slaughter. Please Note: (i) No exhibitor to enter more than two lambs. (ii) Sheep to be born in year of show. (iii) Rob Trevarthen, Butchers have been appointed to stage the carcase section, with the slaughtering charges being as laid out below. These charges, including MLC levies, are as follows; £22 per sheep For any entries which are withdrawn prior to the Show, the above slaughtering charges will be refunded. (iv) The Association reserve the right to cancel the carcase section should insufficient entries be received. (15cm-18cm/6-7in approx) made with the following ingredients: 113gm/4 oz butter, 1 cup of tea, 225gm/8 oz Mixed Dried Fruit – Put these ingredients into saucepan & bring to boil, then simmer for 5 – 10 minutes, then allow to stand for a while – at least 30 minutes, maybe overnight.
225gm/8 oz S R Flour, 113gm/4 oz Moist Brown Sugar, 1 teaspoon Mixed Spice, 1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda. Put these dry ingredients into a bowl & rub together. Then add the wet ingredients and 1 Egg, mix together and put into the greased and lined cake tin. Cook 1 hour 15 minutes at 350 F / 150 C.
